Evening Spring Wedding

About 3 weeks ago, it hit me that my friend's wedding day was quickly approaching. When I looked in my closet, I did not think any of my dresses were suitable enough for this special occasion. Okay, maybe I just wanted a new purchase :/ My mind was set on something fun and chic with color, suitable for church, and comfortable.

I must say that luck was on my side, as I hardly ever find what I am looking for in the first boutique I enter. Then, to top it off, I fell in love with the first dress that I tried on. I guess I'm not as indecisive as I thought. Once I told the store clerk that I was looking for a dress for an afternoon Anglican wedding with reception in a hotel, he led me straight to it. Of course, I had to ask how many of these dresses they had in stock before I even tried it on, lol.

The dress is floor length in coral with white polka dots, has a pleated bottom, flounce top, and a jewel neckline that tied around the neck, and has a cutout back...Yup, this was my dress. I got the exact look that I wanted. Thank you, Signature Styles!

P.S. I rocked my afro puff, as I was not about to straighten my hair. Those who believe that natural is not elegant enough for such an occasion, simply have no clue!

The bride...Isn't she lovely?!?
CONGRATULATIONS! <3 14/06/14
